| HCL Technologies hosted its Analyst & Advisor Day in Europe and US on 30th November, 2010 and 2nd December, 2010 respectively. The events were attended by over 100 + industry analysts and advisors in North America and 50+ in Europe, from across the globe. At the event, industry analysts and advisors were briefed on HCL’s vision and strategy as it moves forward into its next phase of growth. There were more than 20+ client presentations at the events including 5 from the Fortune 500 companies. |

| HCL Technologies highlights strong Nordic growth |
|
|
|
| HCL Technologies announced a number of appointments in the Nordics region, along with a contract with OP Pohjola, the largest Financial Services group in Finland. The services contract with Pohjola is for implementation and support and maintenance of a claims management solution. |
|
|
|
| The scope of this long-term engagement covers delivery of a turn-key centralized claims management software solution that shall be created on top of the standard software platform of Guidewire Software. |

| HCL Technologies announced that it has signed a multi-year end-to-end IT Infrastructure Management engagement with pharmaceutical company Purdue Pharma L.P. The scope of this engagement covers management of two data centers and all remote locations of the client in the U.S. |
|
|
|
| HCL Technologies will also be responsible for transforming Purdue’s IT environment by implementing its world class processes as per ITIL V3 and MTaaS platform, which is HCL’s award-winning business-ready hosted platform for enterprise tools. HCL will also be implementing its shared Remedy V6 ITSM ticketing platform that is based on the MTaaS reference architecture. |

| HCL AXON to Partner with Hawaiian Electric on Customer Support Initiatives |

| HCL AXON (HCL), a division of HCL Technologies and the world's largest services provider dedicated to SAP® solutions, announced that it has signed an implementation agreement with Hawaiian Electric Company. |
|
|
|
| HCL AXON will partner with Hawaiian Electric Company and its subsidiaries, Maui Electric Company and Hawaii Electric Light Company, to install and integrate a SAP Utilities Customer Information System (CIS), a software solution that will help the company more efficiently manage customer accounts; service, call-center and billing processes; and meters and energy data for its more than 400,000 customers on Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, and Hawaii Island. |

| HCL AXON, a division of HCL Technologies and a provider of business transformation consulting services through the innovative implementation and support of SAP® applications, has been admitted to SAP Africa’s National Service Alliance Partnership program. |

| The National Service Alliance Partnership program includes consultants that offer comprehensive services to key SAP accounts in a particular market. Alliance partners work closely with SAP to develop local markets and to deliver services. Participation at this level is by invitation only and requires a sufficient number of certified consultants. |

| HCL Technologies has signed a deal with Novotech, the largest independent clinical research organization in Australia, to implement Oracle’s Siebel Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) over the next few months. The work with Novotech will showcase HCL’s strength in blending project management and system validation, and ensuring clear communication and feedback processes between Novotech and HCL. |

| CSEB looked at implementing a secure network environment from perimeter to the desktops across all locations. As the Board had limited manpower in IT, it chose to outsource its IT Security management. |

| The entire security infrastructure is managed by HCL Comnet through its Security Operating Center (SOC). With these deployments, the Board has been able to ensure utilization of Internet bandwidth by blocking unwanted websites. This has not only allowed the organization to provide hassle-free services to customers but also improved overall employee productivity due to a reduction in downtime caused by malware. |

|

| To gain a clear competitive edge over other banks, United Bank of India (UBI) wanted a solution that would allow it to network all its branches with the head office in an accelerated time frame. |
|
|
|
| The Bank opted for an innovative technology, which has proved to be a pioneering effort for the rest of the industry to emulate. The technology is a joint effort between Cisco and Gilat, a leader in providing VSAT communication services. It entails insertion of a Gilat IDU card which is inserted into the NM slot of a Cisco router. |
|
|
|
| The ability of this technology in enabling quick connectivity was proved when partner, HCL Comnet, connected 100 branches with the head office over VSAT in just a week. The solution has enabled bank to provide assured and hassle free services to end customers even at remote sites. |
