HCL Announces Strategic Partnership with Software Provider nMetric
HCL Technologies has announced a partnership with software company nMetric to provide intelligent shop floor solutions to automotive manufacturers.

HCL Technologies Ltd. was conferred the Best Employer Award at the BPO Excellence Awards 2009-10 hosted by the Stars of the Industry Group.
The award is in recognition of HCL’s outstanding performance and contribution to the BPO industry. The awards were judged on the basis of size and growth in revenue and employee count, diversity of clients, and evidence of quality, competence and management capabilities.
HCL conferred with QCI National Award
HCL Technologies Ltd. has been felicitated with the prestigious QCI-DL Shah National Award on Economics of Quality. The Quality Council of India (QCI) and the D.L. Shah Trust chose HCL for this award under the Large Scale Units - Service Sector category.

The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) has named HCL Technologies Ltd. in the ‘Leaders Category’ for the 2010 Global Outsourcing 100 service providers list. This is the fifth consecutive year that HCL is ranked in the IAOP Leaders Category.
The 2010 Global Outsourcing 100 recognizes the world's best outsourcing service providers, based on a rigorous global application and judging process.
HCL at IAOP Outsourcing World Summit 2010
HCL participated in the IAOP World Outsourcing Summit 2010, held from Feb 15 to 17, 2010 at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Convention Center in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The theme for 2010’s summit was ‘Using Outsourcing to Emerge as a Leader in the New Global Economy’. The three-day Summit was packed with interesting sessions, workshops, key note presentations, hands-on practicum, an exhibition, a gala awards luncheon - and the announcement of global Outsourcing 100 list where HCL was named in the ‘Leaders Category’ of IAOP’s 2010 Global Outsourcing 100 service providers list for the fifth consecutive year!
“Being named to The Global Outsourcing 100 is a great recognition, particularly given the strong competition, and these companies should be proud of achieving excellence in outsourcing,” said IAOP Chairman Michael Corbett.
The summit proved to be an ideal platform enabling excellent business networking.
HCL at AOTMP’s TEM 2010
HCL participated and sponsored the AOTMP’s TEM 2010 event held from Feb 15 to 17, 2010 at Orlando Airport Marriott. This annual event was packed with insightful presentations, learning opportunities, Interactive and hands-on auditing sessions on telecom invoicing and analysis, Learning labs and Networking reception. He reiterates that the Zero Defects Policy is adopted more as a culture rather than a policy to increase operational efficiency and overall productivity across all levels of the organization.
He points out that an organization can reduce a lot of costs by automation but not all aspects can be automated. Implementation of this culture will urge employees to contribute to work in a more systematic way which will further reduce operational costs.
