HCL Technologies Signs Five-Year, Strategic Engagement Agreement With MSD
HCL Technologies has signed a five-year, $500 million strategic engagement with MSD (also known as Merck & Co., Inc. with headquarters in Whitehouse Station, NJ, USA), a global research-driven pharmaceutical company.
HCL will extend its existing relationship with MSD, dating back to 2004, to become an integral business & technology services partner and provide a multitude of services including software-led IT solutions, remote infrastructure management, engineering and business and knowledge process services.

HCL Technologies Ltd. announced the ten-year anniversary of its strategic relationship with Rockwell Collins, a pioneer in the design, production and support of innovative communication and aviation electronic solutions for aerospace and defense customers worldwide.
HCL's Engineering and R&D Division (HCL ERS) runs a large offshore design, development and verification center for Rockwell Collins, which encompasses a team of more than 400 dedicated HCL aerospace engineering specialists. Supporting a multitude of Rockwell Collins initiatives, the HCL team works closely with Rockwell Collins' engineers to develop and verify various solutions important to the company's customers.

Melbourne IT Awards Business Systems Transformation Project To HCL Technologies
Melbourne IT has signed a deal with HCL Technologies Ltd. (HCL), a leading global IT services provider, to support its Integrated Web Services (IWS) business transformation project.
HCL is one of the partners to Melbourne IT, that will support IWS, a three year, $18 million IT integration project which will allow Melbourne IT to fully leverage the value of its customer base by enabling the business to sell customers the full suite of services across business units and geographies. The project will provide Melbourne IT with a single view of each customer globally, improve revenue realization through stronger billing processes and deliver productivity, efficiency and cost savings benefits by enforcing .

World’s Largest Media Conglomerate Partners With HCL for Ad Monitoring Services
HCL Technologies has partnered with a leading global entertainment content company for HCL’s Ad monitoring services. HCL will provide the client with key services such as the creation and updation of ad tickets including the necessary reviews; HCL will also provide the client with ad traffic and programming services.
Prior to partnering with HCL, the client had paid USD 1.2 million annually as penalties for incorrect airing of Ads. After partnering with HCL the media company posted savings of USD 390,763 within the first 3 months with Ads being aired correctly as per the client guidelines.
US Based University Press Chooses HCL’s Digitization Services
A leading university press based in the US has partnered with HCL for its digitization services. As part of the digitization process, HCL will provide the client with key services such as Material Collection, Input Analysis, Imaging and Keying, Semantic tagging, XML Generation and Quality Assurance.
HCL will support the university press in publishing digital editions of official papers and documentary material; HCL will do this while adhering to a high accuracy rate of 99.995%. HCL will also adhere to the Text Encoding Initiatives (TEI) - Open standard DTD as per the University requirement.

President Clinton Urges Executives To Embrace Change
