| HCL’s “Business Aligned R&D” |
| Today, the world is increasingly globalized, and success is no longer guaranteed even for established companies and products - and one has to be relentlessly innovative, while being agile enough to respond to changing market needs or to see through global downturns. This has resulted in Global Technology Companies tapping into foreign sites for the fast maturing local technology landscape and industry-trained workforce to help create a more business-aligned R&D network. |
| Business aligned R&D is realized when organizations mobilize a sustainable, global ecosystem of innovation resources, partners and talent to successfully implement a business strategy and solve business issues. The benefits of Business Aligned R&D are many, apart from increased time and cost benefits. |
| Though the core of our Business Aligned R&D partnerships is one of the world’s best Talent Management processes, to make it truly aligned, HCL has put in place Vertical Solutioning Groups - with senior level talent who understand our Customers’ end markets, their challenges and opportunities. These Vertical Solutioning Groups will interact with customers’ Product teams’ right from the planning stages - helping them build the right product with the right mix of features, functionality and cost.
